About the role
- This is afixed-term apprenticeship, typically lasting 18-24 months, but it may be shorter or longer depending on your skills and experience and the pace you complete the programme.
- You'll be part of a friendly team of five, led by an experienced team leader, providing IT support acrossClacton Coastal Academy, Tendring Technology College, and Hamford Primary Academy.
- Your role will include diagnosing and resolving issues with Windows, Apple, and Chrome devices, supporting AV systems, software roll-outs, asset management, and maintaining strong customer service.
- Working alongside third-party partners and your team, you'll learn how to solve problems and deliver IT support that makes a difference to the people who rely on it.
What we're looking for
- GCSE Maths and English (A-C or 4-9) or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards Functional Skills.
- Enthusiasm for IT and awillingness to learn and grow.
- Experience working as part of a team (e.g., in a sporting, educational, work, or social setting).
Eligibility Criteria
- You must have resided in the UK or EEA for at least 3 years prior to the start of the apprenticeship.
- Applicants must not have already completed a Level 3 IT Solutions Technician apprenticeship.
