Senior Assistant Head:
�� Southview School (part of the Hope Learning Community)
�� Starting September 2025
�� Predominantly Non-Teaching | Senior Leadership Team
Salary scale: Leadership L5 - L10 (depending on experience/person)
Southview School has recently expanded to include a new College site, business premises, a residential provision, and a hydrotherapy pool. To support this growth, we are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Senior Assistant Head to join our Senior Leadership Team. This will be a non-teaching role with no direct class teaching responsibilities.
About Southview School
Southview operates across two closely situated sites (approximately 100m apart):
�� School Site - Catering for Nursery to Year 6.
�� College Site - Supporting students from Year 7 to Year 14, also home to our hydrotherapy pool, business premises, and residential provision.
The Role
· As a Senior Assistant Head, you will:
- Support the Head and Deputy Head in the strategic leadership of the school as a whole.
- Lead, support, and challenge staff to deliver the best outcomes for students.
- Manage and coordinate staff and external professionals working within the school.
- Mainly based at the College Site, but contribute to whole-school leadership across both sites.
- Support and lead on our exciting development plans!

Southview is a special school for students aged from 3-19 years with physical and neurological impairments. Southview School has an Ofsted rating of Outstanding in all areas across the whole school.
