Beacon Hill Academy is an outstanding academy for pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities, aged 2 to 19. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join our innovative and forward-thinking team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, flexible, and driven educator with the highest expectations for our students.

We are incredibly proud of our commitment to ensuring that every pupil, no matter how complex their needs, makes as much progress as possible. Ofsted (2025) recognised this dedication, stating:

"Staff at this school wholly understand and embody the school's motto, 'Achievement has no boundaries.' They leave no stone unturned to ensure that every pupil, no matter how complex their needs, makes as much progress as they can."

Experience in an SLD or PMLD setting is advantageous, but we welcome applications from teachers with Mainstream EYFS experience or any teacher with a passion for SEND learning and a commitment to professional development. We offer a strong induction process and a robust continuous professional development program.

We would consider job share/part-time for the right candidate. ECT with appropriate experience in SEND would also be considered.
