We are looking for a Level 3 early years practitioner to join our outstanding team in September 2025.
This position is going to be predominantly based in our toddler room caring and educating children aged 2-3.
This position is initially a maternity cover position with the anticipation that we can then offer a more permanent position after this cover period.
Hours will be between 8:30am and 5:30pm during term time. We are currently looking for a minimum of 16 hours a week up to 30+ hours per week.
We are hoping to interview and carry out relevant induction / DBS in May / June 2025.

Job Types: Part-Time /Full-time,
Salary: Range from £10.40-£12.75 depending on age and qualification.
Ideally also hold a relevant paediatric first aid certificate.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
- Monitor and assess children's development and progress
- Collaborate with parents and communicate effectively about children's daily activities and progress
- Maintain a clean and organized nursery environment
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care
Skills:
- Experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask

Pay: £10.40-£12.75 per hour

Information about the School
We care and educate children from 18 months old.
We are a term time provider and operate between the hours of 08:30 -17:30 Monday to Friday.
