Moulsham High School is a larger than average 11-18 comprehensive school where all students 'flourish academically' (Ofsted 2024). The learning environment is 'cordial' (Ofsted 2024), and students and staff enjoy a high level of mutual respect.

We are seeking a dedicated SENCO to join our team. Our SEND provision is built around the mantra 'Every child is known and known well,' ensuring that outcomes consistently meet or exceed expectations. Our commitment to inclusivity means we do not rely on external provisions, as we have a comprehensive and exciting in-house offer. This includes 20 AV1 robots, Thrive and a range of therapeutic support.

The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of an appropriate, comprehensive and high-quality SEND provision which is in line with the SEND Code of Practice (2014), promote equity across the school, ensuring that SEND students have full access to the curriculum and all aspects of school life, maximise the progress of SEND students and lead our highly skilled Student Support Team. There is a teaching allocation of up to 20 hours a fortnight with this post.
