Job Title: Pastoral Manager (Deputy Safeguarding Lead) Location: Prittlewell, Essex
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only Salary: YMCA Point 31 to 34(£25,416 to £27,698 Actual Salary)
Southend YMCA Community School is an alternate provision, set up through the free school system in 2013. Our mission is to provide an alternate route for our students to gain the best possible education.
Based in Prittlewell, Southend-on-Sea, we have 50 students, aged 14 to 16, who have been excluded or were at the cusp of exclusion from mainstream schools. As a result, many of our students have complex SEMH needs.
We are seeking to appoint a Pastoral Manager to join the school and help us move on to the next step of our journey.
We are looking for;
·An exceptional, inspirational and caring current pastoral worker with a proven track record who leads by example.
·A dynamic individual capable of supporting the schools vision and aspirations for the future journey.
·Demonstrates an understanding of all pastoral needs and has experience of removing barriers to learning allow students with complex SEMH needs to experience success.
