Required ASAP - Learning Support Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work within Witham Oaks Academy. Following our latest `Good' Ofsted report we are looking for applicants who have experience working with children in the primary sector, to join our amazing team.

This position will be for 15 hours per week, term time only. (8.45am - 12.00pm Monday - Friday), salary scale 3 point 5, £7,948 per annum. This position is initially fixed term for this academic year, linked to funding, with the possibility of extension.

It is essential that candidates hold GCSEs (grades A-C), or equivalent, in both Maths and English.

It is essential that the successful candidate can demonstrate the following:

  • Enthusiasm to work with children with a variety of different personalities and skill levels.
  • Experience within the Primary phase.
  • Able to engage well with pupils.
  • Able to work under your own initiative.
  • Smartly presented and with excellent time management skills.
