Registers and attendance
Complete the daily registers for students am and pm as required with the support of the Office Manager
Support with locating students for the purpose of registers
Taking calls regarding absences of students and recording
Reception duties
Present a professional, welcoming service, greeting all visitors, students and staff and issuing visitor badges as required
Answer, screen and forward incoming telephone calls and emails, answering queries where possible and redirect appropriately
Check ID of visitors
Take copies of internal candidate documents as requested
General office duties
In addition to handling phone calls, emails and letters, this may include filing, photocopying, laminating, printing and other clerical tasks. Sorting and distributing incoming mail.
Preparing for approval and subsequently sending all senior school and sport department external communications and Senior School communications via Bromcom
Organising all external mail
Take delivery of incoming mail, distributing to relevant staff members/pigeonholes in a timely manner
To assist the Office Manager as and when necessary.
Collect and organise lost property
Finance
Assist with bank deposit when required
Assist the Finance Assistant with ordering of goods
Assist the Finance Assistant with checking deliveries against invoices
Assist the Finance Assistant with recording of invoices onto finance system
Monitoring vending machines and organising re-filling as required
Other duties
Act as second signatory to Principal First Aider for drug administration
Attending Open Mornings and assisting with preparation and administration
To order and collect refreshments for meetings and clear meeting areas after meetings
Assist with uniform appointments during holiday periods, as required
Assisting the Office Manager as and when required
This role is full time, all year round, 40 hours per weekwith the possibility of extended holiday during school holidays.
