Position: Midday Assistant - Part Time, Fixed term until 31/08/2025
Pay Range: Scale 2
Position Start Date: Immediate - subject to checks
Contract Type: Fixed term, Monday to Friday 11:45am - 1:20pm
The Alderton Infant School is a successful and friendly school situated in Loughton, Essex. We are a member of the Epping Forest Schools Partnership Trust which was formed in 2018 and work collaboratively with the other schools in our academy. We are a two form entry school for pupils between the ages of 4 and 7 years.
Are you keen to be part of our wonderful team? The headteacher and Governing Body are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Midday Assistant to workfivedays a week (Monday to Friday).
The successful candidate will need to:
- Maintain the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils during the midday break
- Administer basic first aid as required and report accidents
- Maintain dining hall, clearing tables and spillages
- Enjoy working with children and have good communication skills
- Oversee children in the playground or during wet play, monitoring the safety and suitability of activities
- Care for personal cleanliness of children
- Support children with additional needs

We are part of The Epping Forest Schools Partnership Trust, a Multi-Academy Trust of fifteen Primary and one Special School all based in the Epping Forest District. Along with our SCITT (School-Centred Initial Teacher Training), School Improvement Team, Well-being Service and Resourced Provisions based in three of our schools, we are a leading educational organisation in Epping Forest.
