EXAMS ADMINISTRATOR

Pay Range: Local Government Scale 3-4

Actual Salary from: £8,177 - £8,574 (Points 5-8)

The Role

We are creating a new post of Exams Administrator to provide administrative support to facilitate the smooth running of the school's Exams.

We hope this will be of interest to an applicant who isn't looking for work all year round but would like to use their skills to support a busy exam environment.

  • This post is 37 hours per week, 15 weeks per year (2 weeks early December, 2 weeks March, 11 weeks April-July).

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Exam paper storage and allocation, helping the Exams Officer with counting and securing any exam papers delivered onto site and counting and allocating on exams day.
  • Set up on exam day, leading invigilators on room set up and liaising with the Exams Officer, SEN and IT with the setup of computer rooms.
  • During exams help to confirm attendance in each room and being on call alongside the Exams Officer to react to any issues during an exam.
  • Preparing invigilator files for the next day(s) of exams, printed registers, seating plans and labels which all go into separate files each day.
  • Script counting and secure dispatch after each exam, helping the lead invigilator count scripts at the end of an exam and assisting the Exams Officer in bagging and dispatching of scripts once they are accounted for.
