We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and committed individual to work in Key Stage 2 to support a pupilwith Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP) for Social Emotional Mental Health Needs. This role involves supporting this particular pupil to now access learning alongside other children within the classroom and to continue to develop social skills through small group work.
Experience in this role is not essential as consideration will be made for the right candidate. We would also consider flexible working hours, again for the right candidate.
We can offer you a friendly, happy and hard working environment to support you in completing your role successfully and will provide any relevant training needed. The role also includes an additional 15 minutes per day (8:30-8:45) to meet with the class teacher's to discuss planning/pupil needs.
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed to see for yourself the school in action and to have the opportunity to see the children working in their classes.
The working hours are 8:30 am to 3:15 pm with 1 hour lunch (12:15-1:15), 6 hours per day (30hours a week).
