About the team
The Maths team here at Harlow College sit within the English and Maths Academy. The team is responsible for the delivery of GCSE Maths and Functional Skills to young people and adults. The team also supports vocational staff delivering Functional Skills Maths across the college.
About the role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced teacher to deliver GCSE Maths and Functional Skills to students across the college. The post-holder will be expected to contribute to the team's planning of a strong and vibrant curriculum which enables students to improve on their Maths results from school. This is a fantastic opportunity to pass on your skills, and inspire the next generation by working in Further Education.
Ideally qualified to degree level, you will have the skills and experience to teach GCSE Maths and Functional Skills Maths. A teaching qualification is not essential as the college will support you in obtaining a teaching, or assessing qualification where appropriate.
