Description

Buckhurst Hill Community Primary School is a friendly and welcoming two form entry primary school. With stunning grounds and amazing students, we are situated in the leafy suburb of Buckhurst Hill with excellent transport links to London. We pride ourselves as being at the heart of our community and have staff who are committed to the values of trauma informed practice.

For our Admin, Premises and Catering roles, we are looking for a committed, reliable and hard working individual to join our successful school…

We would like our applicants to demonstrate initiative, efficiency and have excellent interpersonal skills. The ability to work as part of a team is essential at the same time as recognising the need to be adaptive with regards to facilitating the important needs required by an environment filled with children.

We can offer a commitment to making sure that you have the necessary knowledge, skills and understanding to facilitate your role to the best of your ability.

For our Teaching and Learning roles…

We are looking for aspirational, innovative and highly skilled practitioners to join our successful school.

We would like our applicants to be committed to providing the best educational opportunities for all children, demonstrate outstanding practice with high expectations of pupil attainment and behaviour, have the ability to inspire and motivate children to achieve levels of excellence, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team.

We can offer a commitment to developing your teaching skills with bespoke CPD to take you to the next level in your career; enthusiastic, friendly and dedicated teaching and support staff, and a community which values everyone's achievement and prides itself on the success of all children.

For all of our roles you must be able to show the compassion, kindness and connection necessary to make experiences for our children the best they can be.

We are part of The Epping Forest Schools Partnership Trust (EFSPT), a Multi-Academy Trust of fifteen Primary and one Special School all based in the Epping Forest District. Along with our SCITT (School-Centred Initial Teacher Training), School Improvement Team, Well-being Service and Resourced Provisions based in three of our schools, we are a leading educational organisation in Epping Forest. EFSPT was formed in 2018 from a consortium of schools that had worked together for over 20 years, and are committed to collaborative working to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children and school communities. The schools maintain their identities but work in a highly collaborative manner supported by a small but very experienced Central Team.

Our Mission is to provide an exceptional education that is inclusive and challenging for all and which provides wider opportunities for the children within the EFSPT to flourish.

EFSPT is committed to Trauma Perceptive Practice; the Essex approach to understanding behaviour and supporting emotional well-being. Being trauma-perceptive means that through our values, policies and practice, we are able to effectively support the children, families and communities in our Trust, creating spaces of belonging and safety that enable everyone to flourish, become resilient and learn.

We are an Equal Opportunities employer and we are committed to safeguarding our schools' communities. The appointment will therefore be subject to satisfactory references and enhanced DBS checks.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
