Year 1 Class Teacher to cover maternity leave
(0.5 Teaching Thursday, Friday and alternate Wednesdays)

Canvey Island Infant School and Nursery is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and highly motivated teacher to cover maternity leave in a Year 1 class, starting after October half term.
We are a two-form entry infant school, with a highly successful 30 place Nursery.
The successful candidate will:
- have an excellent understanding of the Key Stage One National Curriculum expectations
- be able to incorporate continuous provision into their classroom practise
- be an excellent classroom teacher who has high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
- be able to work effectively as a team member and have exceptional communication skills
- be committed to raising standards
- be proactive, organised and able to prioritise workload
