We are looking for a Midday Assistant, who enjoys working with children, to join our friendly team of midday staff. Our aim is to make lunch times enjoyable and safe for all our children. The position is full-time and the working hours are 1 1/2 per day, from 11.45 until 1.15 pm. .
Duties will include assisting children in selecting their meal in the dining hall, clearing tables and associated spillages when meals are finished and supervising children in games and activities in the playground.
Successful applicants must:
● possess good communication skills
● be able to work as part of a team
● show initiative
It would be an advantage to have experience of successful and recent work-based first-aid involving primary and/or nursery age children in an education setting, but this is not essential.
