We are looking to appoint a new enthusiastic SENDCo starting after Easter or September 2025.
This post may be a 3 or 4 day contract and would suit an experienced SENDCo or someone looking for a new challenge with an interest in SEND. There may be the possibility for flexible working.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
· an understanding of the new Code of Practice
· effective teaching and positive outcomes for all children including SEND
· support for SEND children in your class and year group with evidence of positive outcomes
· planning effective interventions with a clear impact
· a strong understanding of what inclusion looks like in a primary school
· working with parents for the best outcomes for their children
· an understanding of how children learn
· being organised and meeting deadlines
· strong communication skills both verbally and written
· an ability to lead and support staff working with children with SEND
National SENDCO Accreditation is required or be in progress.
