A unique opportunity has arisen to work across two successful Infant Schools, Buttsbury Infants and Sunnymede Infants,within Billericay. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated SENCo to join our friendly teams.
The SENco is a crucial member of staff with responsibility for all aspects of leading and managing SEN & Inclusion in each school, including analysing data, supporting planning and implementation of interventions and strategies.
There will be opportunity for support and training through the local SEN cluster, working alongside other SENcos in local schools as part of the Billericay Teaching Schools Alliance.
The successful candidate will need:
- relevant previous experience as a SENco, the National Award for SEN Co-ordination or be prepared to work towards it over the next 3 years.
- Excellent time management, organisation and inter-personal skills
- A thorough knowledge of the Code of Practice
- Have a passion for high quality teaching and learning which is inclusive
