Catering Manager - 25 hours per week (9am-2pm)
39 weeks per year
Scale 7 Point 19-24 required October/November 2024 (can be discussed at interview)
(Actual salary £17,248.67 - £19,129.54)
Are you already a Catering Manager or an experienced Catering Assistant looking for a new role? At Great Dunmow Primary School, the Governors are looking to employ a highly motivated and dedicated Catering Manager with excellent organisational skills and a good rapport with children. Either you will already have undertaken the role of Catering Manager or are experienced enough to take on the role as a promotion. Training for the right candidate will be given. Your role will include delivering the catering service, planning, preparation and presentation of food and beverages to the required standard.
We are looking for someone who has:
¨ Level 3 Food Safety - not essential as training will be given
¨ Able to cook delicious healthy balanced meals in accordance with our menus
¨ Is able to manage producing between 270-360 meals per day
¨ Experience in leading and motivating staff
¨ Menu planning
¨ Completing food safety records
¨ Operate and control stock
You will be expected to:
¨ Ensure the kitchen is clean and tidy at all times
¨ Understand budget control
¨ Undertake training as required
¨ Keep up to date with changes and developments in the catering industry
¨ Work in collaboration with other colleagues
