Learning Support Tutor
Pay : £16,785, rising to £17,261 on satisfactory completion of a 6 month probation period
Working Hours: 27.5 per week, 45.8 weeks per year (term-time only).

Treetops Learning Community are excited to offer an opportunity to join our team as a learning support tutor in our pre-formal pathway. The successful candidate will work within a small classroom team, supporting children or young adults with a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
You will learn to assist in the development of individualised programmes, underpinned by the science of ABA (applied behaviour analysis), with specific emphasis on a verbal behaviour (VB) approach to language. No prior experience of ABA is required as full on the job training will be provided.

Treetops School was again judged outstanding in February 2020, while Treetops Free School, which officially opened in September 2022, was judged Good in its first Ofsted inspection in March 2024.
Students throughout Treetops Learning Community have complex needs varying from moderate to severe learning difficulties, which may include; speech and communication difficulties, autism and global developmental delay.
