We are looking to appoint 2 efficient and reliable Cleaners to join the team.
The 2 positions are:
1. Working 4 hours a day Monday to Friday, to be undertaken between the hours of 3.00 am and 7.30 am. This role could be split into 2 positions of 2 hours each if necessary.
2. Working 2 hours per day Monday to Friday between the hours of 3.30pm - 5.30pm specifically primarily cleaning our Food Technology room
Holiday entitlement: Pro-rated holiday entitlement will be calculated on appointment.
Pay: The post is paid on Essex Schools' Local Government Pay Scale 1, point 2. The full time equivalent pay for this Scale is £22,366 gross per annum.
The actual salary will be paid in 12 equal monthly instalments per year. For illustrative purposes, for a part time post working 2 hours a day the actual annual salary would be £6,921 gross per annum. For a part time post working 4 hours a day the actual annual salary would be £13,842 gross per annum.
The positions are full time, however we would be open to discussing offering a role term time only.

This role is for a fixed term contract initially until the end of the Autumn term, 31st December 2024, any longer term opportunity would be discussed in due course.
Following training, the successful candidate will need to be able to work on their own initiative.
Previous experience as a Cleaner would be an advantage, although not essential.
The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
