Chelmsford College is seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Trades Technician who will support students and staff throughout the Built Environment and Sustainable Technologies (BEST) department.
Following the completion of our new BEST Centre, we are developing a new and exciting curriculum offer in Construction trades including Brickwork, Carpentry and Joinery, Painting and Decorating and Plumbing. We are looking for an experienced Senior Technician to support this exciting initiative and ensure that our students and staff have the tools, materials and resources they need to participate in a modern, high-quality curriculum.
As a flexible and proactive professional with an excellent understanding of Health and Safety, you will work be responsible for ordering, cleaning and maintenance, risk assessment and compliance. Experience in using woodworking machines would be an advantage.
