Highfields is an outstanding school looking for inspiring new leadership following the retirement of our current long-serving headteacher. Rated Outstanding at its last two Ofsted inspections, and with a talented and dedicated team together with motivated and well-behaved children, this post will suit an experienced headteacher looking for a fresh challenge, or an exceptional deputy head who is ready for headship.
We are a popular 45 pupil intake primary school situated in modern buildings on a green site in Lawford, Manningtree. Manningtree is a growing and thriving town close to the Essex/Suffolk border, giving excellent access to Colchester and Ipswich, with inter-city trains to London and Norwich.
We are looking for:
- A proven and inspirational primary school leader who shares our values and ethos and can set strategic direction
- An approachable and visible leader who can build positive relationships and communicate effectively with staff, pupils and parents
- A passionate, experienced and ambitious educator with a passion for fostering an inclusive, positive and fulfilling school culture and workplace
- Effective management experience, with the ability to empower, motivate and develop a team of dedicated and talented staff
- A passion for delivering a rich and diverse curriculum through high quality teaching so that all our children can reach their full potential
