Templars Primary Academy, part of Inspires MAT is looking for a new Headteacher for April 2025 who will continue the development of this large successful school of 420 pupils and provide strong positive leadership to our school community.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proven school leader to lead our school and community through the coming years following building on the strong foundations set by the current Headteacher.
Templars Academy is a community school serving the east side of Witham, Essex. We are a strong community with a culture of high expectations of both academic achievement and personal and social development. We offer a curriculum that is exciting, vibrant and promotes a love of learning. We provide many opportunities to enhance the learning experience for our children and help them develop as well-rounded individuals. OFSTED recently rated Templars as a Good school and we are striving to provide outstanding provision as widely as possible.
We are looking for a Headteacher who
- Can demonstrate continuous improvement and excellent leadership
- Can demonstrate a proven track record of school and staff development
- Will engage and motivate our children
- Who will support and inspire our staff to provide the best possible education for our children
- Work positively with all stakeholders
- A dynamic leader to move our school from 'good' to 'outstanding'.

Group 3 pay range: L16 (£72,162pa) - L20 (£79,475pa)
