HLTA (Level 1b) - permanent contract

32.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.

Term time only (38 weeks per year)

Pay Band - Scale 6

A rare opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic HLTA to join our team in the delightful village of Coggeshall.

St Peter's Church of England Primary School is a vibrant school with a friendly and supportive staff and fantastic children. The successful applicant will have a 'solution-based' attitude, will emanate positivity, and will uphold our Christian values, including tolerance, understanding and forgiveness. We embrace a Trauma Perceptive Practice and place a high value on inclusion.

Level 1b HLTAs will be expected to deliver lessons, assisting with preparing and planning lessons as required.

- educated to GCSE A-C (or equivalent) or above in English and Maths;

- able to provide evidence of HLTA training or be prepared to work towards this (payed for by the school);

- a flexible, organised and enthusiastic team player;

-able toshow initiative and work independently;

- passionate about learning and have the ability to encourage our children to become happy, confident learners;

- committed to trauma perceptive practice;

- someone who believes in learning without limits and that every child can succeed;

- a strong team member who works well with other staff and members of the school community;

- able to maintain a calm, purposeful working environment built on mutual respect;

- able to forge and maintain positive relationships with our children and their families.
