We are looking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to join our lunchtime team to support, inspire and engage children at our school
Working: Mon - Fri 11.45am - 2.00pm, 11 hrs 15 minutes per week
Term time + Inset Days
Salary: Level 4 £23,893 fte
Actual salary: £6,297
The successful candidate will be able to lead a small friendly team. They should be able to engage with children, support and care for them, deal with any issues in a calm and positive way and ensure that lunchtimes are safe, positive and happy.
Duties will include:
- Leading and organising the midday team
- Handling absence cover and return to work meetings
- Supervising children in the lunch hall, playground and classrooms
- Ordering resources for safe and fun playtimes which encourage all types of play
- Preparing the dinner hall for lunch and clearing away afterwards
- Encouraging healthy eating
- Administering first aid
- Respecting the need for confidentiality
