Job Role: Catering Assistant/Porter
Contract type: Part-time, permanent
Hours: 15 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus inset days)
Pattern: Monday - Friday 9.30am - 2.30pm
Salary: Scale 2 Point 3 - 4, £22737 - £23114 FTE (Actual Salary: £8245 - £8489)
Closing date: Noon on Friday 18th October 2024
Start date: Immediate
We have an exciting opportunity for two enthusiastic catering assistants to join our busy in house catering team here at Roding Valley High School. You will be working alongside our existing experienced catering team to deliver the highest standards of food quality and service at all times. The role is a varied one which includes a level or porterage including washing up and transporting food to various serving points. A commitment to a high standard of hygiene, the ability to work with heavy equipment as well as the ability to work as part of a team are essential. Previous experience of catering or kitchen work is desirable, although training will be given for the right candidate.
