Stanway Primary School - Midday Assistant

Hours: 10 hours per week, 11:30am to 1:30pm Monday to Friday (Term time only)

We are happy to consider both full and part week applications, so please don't be put off if you are unable to commit to a whole week.

Pay Range: Local Government Scale 2 point3-4

Actual Salary: £5415.75 - £5502.75

Start Date: As soon as possible

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, friendly and effective Midday Assistant to join our school. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and promote positive behaviour.

Duties will include:

· supervising children in the lunch hall, classrooms and the playground

· prepare the dinner hall for lunch and clear away afterwards

· encourage healthy eating

· administer first aid if required

· interact with children to encourage good social skills

· respect the need for confidentiality

· lead games with the children
