St John's Green Primary School is a large City Centre school, operating over two sites.
We are a good school and put the children at the heart of Teaching & Learning with a curriculum that seeks to inspire and support children to achieve.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Senior Learning Support Assistant with HLTA status to work at our school. The successful candidate will become an integral member of our staff team, supporting an allocated year group, covering PPA for teachers and teaching/supporting groups of children both in and out of the classroom. Please note, only applicants with HLTA status will be considered for this role.
The vacancy is for a permanent contract starting ASAP for 31 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time plus non-pupil days. The role is to support the children for the whole school day which is currently Abbey Field site 8.30am - 3.05pm and Town site 8.40am to 3.15pm plus weekly after school staff meetings. As we are a two-site school, the role can be at either site and can move between sites depending on the needs of the children.
The successful applicant will be paid at Scale 5 Points 9-12 which equates to £26,409 - £27,711 per annum (pro rata £18,969.17 - £19,904.38 per annum).
