Chelmsford College is seeking to appoint an innovative, motivated and enthusiastic Life Skills tutor to deliver a comprehensive Life Skills Programme. This role is perfect for individuals looking to progress in the field of education and to make a meaningful impact on learners' lives.
As a flexible, creative and pro-active professional you will be able to work alongside the Life Skills and Enrichment Manager ensuring a high quality experience for learners being prepared for life in modern Britain.
The Life Skills Tutor role is to deliver a wide range of highly transferable skills, support the delivery of wider enrichment activities and support Learner Voice meetings and events. While teaching experience is not essential, it is vital to have prior experience working with young people in order to comprehend the needs of the learners.
You will be required to deliver up to 30 prepared sessions per week to learners across a range of Life Skills topics including British values, employability, safeguarding and health and wellbeing.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, demonstrate a passion for engaging with learners, and have a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
