Downham Primary School, working in partnership with Berlesduna Academy Trust, has an exciting opportunity for a School Business Manager to join the team.
The position is for 25 hours per week Monday to Friday, term time plus 2 weeks in the school holidays.
Salary Scale 7, Point 19 (Range 19-24). Actual starting salary is £18,881 per annum, including paid annual leave which must be taken during school closure periods.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and flexible School Business Manager to join our small team responsible for the administrative and financial processes in the school. School experience is desirable but not essential.
The ideal candidate will have:
· the skill to manage a busy office, prioritising and managing workload in a variety of tasks,
· experience of financial management, budgetary control and the ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail,
· excellent interpersonal skills, use their own initiative and work effectively as part of a team,
· excellent literacy, numeracy and IT skills,
· a relevant financial/business management qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
