Newport Primary School are looking to appoint an outstanding teaching assistant to join our team.
Applications are invited from Teaching Assistants who
· Wish to make a difference to children's learning
· Are able to assist children on an individual basis but also work as a member of the team
· Have excellent communication skills, with children, colleagues and parents
· Can demonstrate good organisational skills
· Can support inclusion in the classroom, ensuring all pupils feel involved with all tasks and activities
· Under the direction of the teacher, support the school curriculum, including literacy and maths
· Has an understanding of SEND and behaviour needs
You will need to be:
· Positive and enthusiastic
· Calm and flexible in your approach to the role
· Reliable, resilient and able to take initiative
· Able to work as part of a team
· Have a good standard of written and spoken English

Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.15pm
This is term time only plus training days.
