Midday Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Job Description

Fixed Term Contract until 31st August 2025

Total number of hours: 15 hours per week, 12.15pm to 3.15pm, 5 days a week. Term time plus inset days (39 weeks per year)

Pay scale: scale 3 (point 5 to 6). Pro rated salary £8,861.31 - £8,997.90

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and self-motivated midday LSA to join our school team. The ideal candidate will have midday/LSA experience and have previously worked in a primary school setting with SEN pupils.

This LSA role will support a pupil with SEN needs during the midday break and the afternoon teaching sessions.

The successful candidate will:

· be adaptable and able to work with initiative

· be a flexible motivated team player with good organisational skills

· be able to create a purposeful and exciting learning environment indoors and outdoors

· have a 'Can do' approach

· be able to work effectively as part of a team and have high expectations of themselves and children
