(£3,982.29 - £4,048.82 plus £116.75 fringe allowance per annum)

7 hours 30 minutes per week
Monday - Friday 12.45pm - 2.15pm
38 weeks of the year - term time only

A new opportunity has arisen for Midday Assistants to join our successful team supporting students at lunchtime. The position will require the successful candidate to supervise the pupils' activities at lunchtime, ensuring high standards of health & safety and wellbeing. The role of the Midday Assistant is to promote good standards of behaviour whilst supporting and supervising the students. The Midday Assistant should act as a responsible, caring person, always with the welfare of the pupils in mind. It is essential to have a positive attitude with the ability to communicate with students in a firm but fair manner.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate patience and show a commitment to supporting students. This role would be suited to someone enthusiastic, personable, empathetic and able to communicate effectively, whilst maintaining a calm and professional manner, under pressure.

Previous Midday Assistants have progressed into such roles as Catering Assistant, Teaching Assistant and Learning Support Assistant. Overtime may be available as well.
