Fantastic Job Opportunity within a New Montessori Nursery/Pre-School

We are looking for a passionate, committed and fun individual for this responsible role managing the day to day running of our new Montessori nursery/pre-school, looking after children aged from 0 to 4 years old. You will be joining our new nursery right from the start and will be part of this exciting journey from the onset.

You will need the following qualities to join this exciting new team:

An excellent communicator, organised, and will enjoy working as part of a team;
Responsible for the care and supervision of children with regards to their physical, emotional and intellectual needs;
An excellent understanding of the EYFS curriculum is required;
Confident in record keeping as responsible for promoting children's progress and wellbeing with due regard for good behaviour, health and safety;
Excellent administration skills;
Line management skills with responsibility for other members of staff.

Information about the School

Jelly Beans Montessori Nursery is situated in a Catholic Church building in Southend Road, Hockley. It is a privately run Christian day Nursery which accepts children of all faiths (or none).

For children aged 0-3 years, the Nursery operates from two large rooms, with an adjacent enclosed and secure garden and forest school which the children can use throughout the year. Operating since 2004, the Nursery is a popular day care option for babies and toddlers, as well as a useful holiday club venue for working parents.

Jelly Beans also have two Pre-Schools within Hockley, one based at the Plumberow Primary Academy and one based at Hockley Primary Academy.

Behind its success is the vision of founder Sarah Drummond, a dedicated Montessori practitioner, who remains actively involved in the day-to-day running of Jelly Beans.
