We are looking to recruit an energetic and qualified individual to lead and manage our Ofsted Outstanding pre-school in Chelmsford.
The pre-school is a registered charity and has a total staff complement of 10.
Applicants should be at least Level 3 Early Years Qualified and ideally have some experience in a supervisory capacity.
Responsible for managing the staff and activities of the pre-school, applicants must have significant experience in the Early Years sector and be well versed in the regulatory environment and the safeguarding of young children.
Reporting to the Chairperson of the Charity and, in tandem with the Business Manager, the jobholder is involved in ALL aspects of the running of a vital community facility and needs to be able to liaise efficiently with parents/carers and other external service providers.
We operate two sessions each day, school term time only, for 38 weeks each year. Start time is 8.30 am until 3.30 pm Monday to Friday.
This is a permanent role offering a competitive salary, pension option and all regular school holiday entitlements - Start Date September 2024.

You and Me is a charity run pre-school, welcoming children from 2 years to school age.
Our indoor learning environment and large secure garden set the scene for free flow play, adventure and learning alongside our experienced and friendly staff.
Open school term times 9.00 am to 3.00 pm Monday to Friday.
