Hours: 30 hours per week (less hours will be considered)
Term Time plus inset days (39 weeks per annum)
Contract: Permanent contract
Salary: Scale 3, Point 5‐6 £16,335.18‐£16,608.36
per annum (full time equivalent salary
£23,500‐£23,893)
Start date: Autumn Term ‐ September

An opportunity has arisen to join our wonderful school community as a Learning Mentor from September.
The successful candidate must:

Good literacy and numeracy skills.
Good organisational skills.
Ability to build effective working relationships with pupils and adults.
Skills and expertise in understanding the needs of all pupils.
Knowledge of how to help adapt and deliver support to meet individual needs
Excellent verbal communication skills
Active listening skills
Knowledge of guidance and requirements around safeguarding children and a commitment to ongoing training
in this area
Good ICT skills, particularly using ICT to support learning

This is a 2 form entry junior school.
Rated good by Ofsted in 2023 and SIAMS in 2024. We have great relationships the parish of with St Johns and St Marks and work closely with local and MAT schools.
