Term Time plus inset days (39 weeks per annum)

Salary: Scale 3, Point 5‐6 £16,335.18‐£16,608.36
per annum (full time equivalent salary
£23,500‐£23,893)

Location: Great Clacton Church of England Junior School

An opportunity has arisen to join our wonderful school community as a Learning Mentor from September.

The successful candidate must:

 Good literacy and numeracy skills.
 Good organisational skills.
 Ability to build effective working relationships with pupils and adults.
 Skills and expertise in understanding the needs of all pupils.
 Knowledge of how to help adapt and deliver support to meet individual needs
 Excellent verbal communication skills
 Active listening skills
 Knowledge of guidance and requirements around safeguarding children and a commitment to ongoing training
in this area
 Good ICT skills, particularly using ICT to support learning

Great Clacton Church of England Junior School is a member of The Diocese of Chelmsford Vine Schools Trust. This is a 2 form entry junior school. Rated good by Ofsted in 2023 and SIAMS in 2024. We have great relationships the parish of with St Johns and St Marks and work closely with local and MAT schools.
