Ryedene Primary School and Nursery is delighted to invite you to apply to join our fantastic team as a Nursery Practitioner.

This position requires the individual to have a minimum Level 3 recognised qualification in childcare.

As a nursery practitioner, you will support the room leader and EYFS Lead in the planning and delivery of the early year's framework, creating a stimulating and rich learning environment to support the development needs of all our pupils. You will act as a key worker for a group of children and work as part of a team to ensure our nursery becomes a hub at the heart of our community.

You will be supported by an excellent group of nursery practitioners and senior leaders from the school and will have opportunities to establish positive relationships with school leaders to ensure that the vision and ethos of Ryedene is shared across this wonderful setting.

Duties will include:

· Providing safe, high-quality education and care to our EYFS children

· Have high expectations of every pupil

· Liaise closely with parents/carers ensuring each child's needs are recognised and met

· Assist with planning of the curriculum, record keeping and data interpretation

· Administer first aid

· Set up 'stations' and play areas on a daily basis and help to tidy away at the end of each session.
