Food Technology Technician
25 hours per week - 42.6 weeks per year, Term-Time Only
09:00am until 2:00pm
£11.93 per hour
£12,705 per annum
As a result of staff changes, we are seeking to appoint a Food Technology Technician to join our Technology Department. As a Food Technology Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Department and enhancing the learning experience of our students. Your responsibilities will include assisting in lesson delivery, preparing educational materials, providing personalised student support, and contributing to the overall academic environment. This position is ideal for someone passionate about food technology and education, looking to make a tangible impact on students' academic journeys.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Food Technology Department in delivering engaging and practical lessons
- Supporting students in their learning, both in and out of the classroom
- Helping prepare teaching materials and resources
- Maintaining and organising the food technology rooms, ensuring all equipment and ingredients are ready for use
- Assisting with practical assessments
