LIBRARY ASSISTANT

Required September 2024

22.5 hours per week term time plus 3 inset days and 3 days holiday working.

Monday to Wednesday 8am until 4pm (half an hour unpaid lunch)

Scale 5 point 9 to 12 -£25,119 - £26,421 pro rata + £689 outer fringe allowance

Actual salary £13,786 to £14,481

The Role

The role will involve supporting the team in the library with the operational administration of school library systems, processes, and procedures. It is a varied and rewarding role in a busy department.

Supporting students and staff is an essential part of the job so good communication skills are essential.

A flexible, calm, approachable and professional manner with a 'can do' outlook is essential.

The successful candidate will:

· Have excellent organisational and inter-personal skills

· Strong administrative skills

· Have previous experience working with schools
