Are you wanting to return to work, within the school day to earn some extra cash? We have a vacancy for a Midday Assistant to join our team.
We are looking for a Mid-Day Assistant to start work as soon as possible, for five days a week from 12.00 to 1.15 p.m., during the term time only.
This is a fixed term contract from September 2024 - July 2025
Can you offer?
• Flexibility-a 'can do' approach with an ability to communicate with children in a firm but fair manner
• An ability to respond to all pupils and staff
• A willingness to involve yourself with the children, and instigate group games
• First Aid-not essential as we can arrange this
The role of the Midday Assistant is to help with the food, promote a good standard of behaviour, supervise the children when playing outside, or in classrooms on wet days.
The Midday Supervisor Assistant should act as a responsible caring adult with the health, safety, and welfare of the children always in mind; show conduct which commands respect; and see that the children behave at all times sensibly and quietly.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure.
