Starting salary £15,093 (actual per annum)
Hours of work: 27 hours per week / 38 weeks per year (term time)
Elmstead Primary School are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring SEN Learning Support Assistant to support a specific learner in our Year 3 class.
Due to the role being linked to a specific pupil, the contract will continue until such time as the named pupil either leaves the school or the funding is withdrawn.
The ideal candidate will:
- have experience of working with SEN children
- be able to support specific learners by following programmes devised by the school
- have the ability to work as part of a team, including outside professionals
- use their own initiative to support the specific learners to make the best possible progress
- be supportive, patient and have a caring nature
- be able to remain calm and flexible and have a sense of humour
