Catering Assistant - Vacancy
Autumn 2024
We are pleased to invite applications for our post of Catering Assistant.
An exciting opportunity has arisen at our school and we are seeking to appoint a Catering Assistant.
The successful applicant will work within the school kitchen at St Osyth Church of England Primary School, working with the Catering Manager and Assistant Cook.
The successful candidate will:
· have experience of working in a kitchen environment
· be trained to Level 2 Food Safety or will be willing to complete training
· display a professional attitude
· remain calm under pressure
· have a sense of humour
· be committed to supporting the values and ethos of our Church school.
Salary
15 hours a week, term time.
Scale 2, points 3-4.
Full Time Equivalent £22,737.00 to £23,114.00
Pro Rata - for 15 hours a week 39 weeks per annum (term time plus insert days), Monday to Friday 10:55-13:55 - £7,902.40 to £8,033.43
Recruitment dates
1. Applications to be submitted no later than Midnight Thursday 13th July 2024.
2. Shortlisting on 14th July 2024.
3. Interviews will take place - 17th July 2024.
4. To start 2nd September 2024.

Ours is a rural location just twenty minutes from Colchester and ten minutes from Clacton. We are an academy with the Vine Schools Trust and so have the support of the trust and of the diocese.
