Cover Supervisor required to start September 2024 - fixed etrm 31/08/2025

Location: Maple Grove Primary School, Pitsea

Salary: Scale 5/6 - Point 11-17 (Actual salary £20,149 - £22,250 per annum)

Hours: Monday - Friday 32.5 hours per week (08:15 - 15:45 hours) - 39 working weeks, term time plus inset days

Maple Grove Primary School is looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and committed Cover Supervisor who has experience of teaching in a Primary School. The role will involve teaching sets and covering teachers for PPA.

The ideal candidate will:

NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience
Experience working with children of relevant age in a learning environment
Have excellent numeracy/literacy skills - educated to a minimum of GCSE C in Maths and English
Can use ICT effectively
Have a working knowledge and experience of implementing national curriculum and other relevant learning programmes/strategies
Able to develop positive relationships with children and adults
