Churchgate Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School is an extremely caring, outward-looking and inclusive primary school in the heart of the beautiful village of Old Harlow, located on the eastern outskirts of Harlow - easily accessible via the new 7A junction on the M11. Churchgate is a single form entry school, and we currently have 197 children on role.
The Governors are looking for a dynamic Head Teacher to start in January 2025 who will be able to drive our school from Good to Outstanding.
You will have:
- A commitment to supporting our Christian vision of 'Nurturing Life in all its Fullness' and embody our core values of Compassion Courage and Thankfulness
- Proven effective leadership and evidence of strategic understanding
- Effective management experience, with the ability to empower and develop a team of dedicated staff and make best use of school funds
- A passion for delivering a rich and diverse curriculum through high quality teaching for the benefit of all children so they can reach their full potential
- The ability to develop and nurture trusting and robust relationships with our children, staff, governors, families, and wider school partners
- A commitment to safeguarding, child protection and mental wellbeing for all
