We are seeking to appoint a passionate, experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our established and successful Early Years team at our creative, friendly primary school. The role will involve working alongside the class teachers and SENCo team to support learning and follow recommendations from outside agencies. You will be responsible for assisting the learning and development of pupils ranging across all year groups. Hours will be between 8.40am to 3.15pm.
The successful applicant will be someone with:
An understanding of children within an educational setting and the ability to support them effectively
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
A commitment to achieving the best for every child
Be highly motivated
A good standard of education: Maths and English GCSE grades A-C or equivalent
The ability to follow direction but also be proactive and use own initiative
Preferably some experience with working with young children
