We are seeking a professional, and experienced, College Counsellor and Wellbeing Advisor, to provide high quality, therapeutic one to one and targeted group sessions. This is a highly rewarding opportunity for the right candidate to engage and inspire our students.

You will also contribute towards the whole college Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy, raising awareness of mental health and supporting the Like Skills Programme within the college.

You will hold a level 5 or 6 counselling qualification and hold Accreditation with BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy)/NCS (National Counselling Society) or eligibility for accreditation and actively pursuing accreditation.

Experience of working with young adults, knowledge of mental health issues and awareness of the signs of mental illness to facilitate appropriate referrals is essential.

Job share will be considered.

Full-Time equivalent salary is from £32,998 up to £36,598 per annum.

Hours: 35 per week

Weeks: 36 per year
