Saplings Nursery is seeking a full time Housekeeper, daily hours are negotiable but 37 - 40 hours a week are anticipated.
The successful candidate will be offered a role at our sought ater setting, with an annual starting salary of £24K p.a.
We are looking for the right person to fulfil this role, one who will enjoy working in an early years setting and who recognises the importance of being part of a team. You will need to be energetic, enthusiastic and dependable.
Your role will be to provide a clean, safe and healthy early years environment throughout the common areas of the house.

Information about the School
Saplings is a private nursery, in semi-rural Essex. We have two lovely houses, Waltham Hall Cottage for under threes and Chapter House for preschool. Our gardens are extensive and natural, with trees, shrubs and planters. We grow vegetables, enjoy fruit from the fruit trees. We keep chickens, guinea pigs and giant african snails for the children to enjoy.
The nursery is open all year round, Monday to Friday 7.30 - 6.30pm.
Stortford KidsOut, provides Wraparound / Out of School Care to two local schools. Our setting in Bishops Stortford, close to the M11, is a large, popular club that is in its 21st year. The club operates from a dedicated building, offering breakfast and after school care for the children of Summercroft Primary School, CM23 5BJ. Staff working hours are between 7.30-9am and 2.30 - 6.30pm Monday to Friday.
Our second wraparound/out of school provision is based at Birchanger Primary School, Birchanger, CM23 5QL. This is a smaller club and has equally been operating successfully for a number of years.
Current Update: Summercroft School are adding an additional building for our use to provide a further 32 children with wraparound care at Stortford KidsOut from September 2024. We are currently seeking 4 additional staff members to help us meet the demand for parents desperate to secure a place next academic year.
