We are looking to appoint a friendly and enthusiastic assistant to join our Afterschool Club team. Initially this is a fixed term contract until February 2025, however, there is a strong possibility of extension of the contract to a permanent contract. This role is ideal for a candidate who is looking for a career move into working in schools/with children.

The vacancy is for 5 afternoons per week:Monday - Friday from 3pm-6pm. Term-time only.

Duties will include:

• Welcoming children in to the club
• Liasing with parents on collection
• Preparing snacks for the children
• Setting up activities and overseeing indoor and outdoor play
• Tidying up at the end of the session
• Administering basic first-aid
