Extended Services Manager required to start as soon as possible

37 hours per week - Essex Pay Band Scale 8 NPS 26-28 - £35,523 - £37,337

Monday - Friday - Hours to be negotiated - it is anticipated that the hours will be on a rota basis coveringbreakfast club one week and teatime club the following week.

Maple Grove Primary School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, creative, and committed Extended ServicesManager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and daily management of thebreakfast, teatime and holiday clubs. The successful candidate will manage the school's lunchtime provisionincluding supervision of the Midday Assistants. The Extended Service Manager will manage the school's welfarefacility including implementing care plans and risk assessments. The role is to provide a safe and caringenvironment in line with statutory guidance where children can enjoy a range of play, learning and leisure activities.

The Extended School Manager will guide staff in developing consistent practice in provisions, ensuring high qualitylearning opportunities, pastoral care, safeguarding, and behaviour through the management of the extendedservices and midday provision so that all children achieve the highest standards of attainment and achievement.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have level 3 in Childcare and Education or equivalent
  • Be Experienced in working with children of relevant age in a learning environment
  • Have excellent numeracy/literacy skills - educated to a minimum of GCSE C in Maths and English
  • Be able to use ICT effectively
  • Be able to develop positive relationships with children and adults
