Business Coordinator - Part Time Permanent Contract
Hours: 22.5 hours per week (3 days per week 9am-5pm)
Salary: £22,308 - £25,861.09 gross per annum
(£11,480.04 - £13,308.51 pro-rota, actual salary before tax)
Starting: ASAP
Reports to: Assistant Business Manager
Position is based in Witham, Essex
The Business Coordinator is a role where you will be supporting REACH staff with the day-to-day administration tasks required.
Responsibilities
- Deal with telephone and email enquiries/referrals
- Photocopy, print and scan various documents
- Create and maintain filing systems (electronically)
- Schedule and attend meetings, create agendas, and minute taking
- Book meeting rooms and conference facilities
- Liaise with staff in other departments and with external contacts
- Order and maintain stationery and equipment
- Organise travel and accommodation for staff and external contacts
- Oversee daily pupil attendance
- Monthly invoicing
- Dealing with invoice/payment queries
- Assist with compiling weekly pupil timetables
- Send out weekly pupil reports to external contacts
- Develop skills in the management of the company website and social media
- Liaise with pupils' parents/carers
- HR administration tasks i.e. tracking staff absence, logging staff training
- Process DBS checks
- Recruitment, shortlisting, and the interview process
- Provide admin support to Reach colleagues on a regular and ad-hoc basis
- Working towards/have a qualification
- Compiling material for training days
- Prepare monthly payroll
- Reviewing and processing staff expenses and mileage
- Inductions for new staff
Person Specification
- Flexible, and willing to work in the fast-paced and constantly changing environment
- Undertake training and professional development as and when required
- Ability to work on own initiative and to contribute ideas
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player
- Creative and problem-solving approach to situations
- Have good experience and knowledge of Microsoft packages i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook
